Dave Hunt is known for rightly dividing the words of the almighty and presenting the truths backed up by scripture. He often deals with “politically incorrect” and controversial issues with little fear of backlash and much vigor. Hunt was born in 1926 in a Christian family.

Their family members had great bonding with Plymouth Brethren, a group of Christians. Dave Hunt enjoyed all the benefits that come with religious upbringing. From an early age he was in love with the almighty and before pursuing education in high school he made his decision to place his trust in Lord Christ. He started considering Jesus as his Lord and Savior.

He earned a degree in mathematics and built up his career as a management/CPA consultant. Later he took the responsibility of managing several corporations. He tied the knot with Ruth and was blessed with four children. From this time, his love and passion for spreading the gospel kept him involved in several campus ministries. He was engaged with ministry but his heart desired to serve the almighty full-time.

Through his writing and research this desire was fulfilled. He gained much popularity as an author. He has gifted a number of books on Western religion and culture, New Age and psychological thinking, Eastern Religions, ecumenism between Protestants and Catholics. The God Makers was published in November, 1997.  It served as a great gizmo for witness to Mormons. He received much appreciation for writing this book. How Close are We is another great piece of work of Hunt.
